Built by The Conservatory Group in 2008 and 2012, respectively, 68 Grangeway Ave—also known as Skyscape—and Altitude, or 88 Grangeway Ave, are high-rise residential condominium buildings located in Scarborough’s Woburn North neighborhood. While they share certain similarities with other condo complexes in the neighborhood in terms of age, design, and layout, these buildings are newer, compared with other residential properties in the area, such as the Hillsborough Court Condos or the May Tower complex. Nonetheless, Skyscape and Altitude figure among some of the most sought-after residential properties in the area.

Units and Layout

The apartments in Skyscape and Altitude offer a variety of different unit types and layouts. While 68 Grangeway Ave has 19 storeys and 228 units, 88 Grangeway Ave houses 26 storeys and 222 units. Despite its more recent build, condo floor plans in both the buildings are still considerably larger, compared with those found in more recently constructed condominium buildings. In addition to larger unit sizes, residents of the complex enjoy some great perks and amenities.

The unit sizes at Skyscape range from approximately 500 to 1200 square feet and between 600 and 1500 square feet for Altitude, with many different layouts and exposures. The price per square foot currently averages at $741 for 68 Grangeway Ave and $785 for 88 Grangeway Ave, which is much lower than what most new condo buildings have to offer. There are anywhere from 1BR+1WR units all the way up to 2BR+2WR and 2BR+den+2WR units. Some of the dens in the 2BR+1+2WR units are spacious enough to be used as a bedroom. Regardless of their size, all the building’s units are well-lit and have elegant and modern finishes, including open concept kitchens and large, bright windows.

At 68 Grangeway Ave, unit sales prices begin at about $539,000 for a one-bedroom condo, currently going up to nearly $799,000 for a two-bedroom condo. A one-bedroom condo in 88 Grangeway Ave is priced at around $479,000, with a three-bedroom unit costing over $1 million.
